Meet Our Pet of the Month: Posey!

Every month, we love highlighting one of the wonderful pets who brings so much joy and personality to our routine. This month, all eyes are on Posey, a sweet, spunky kitty we’ve had the absolute pleasure of visiting for over four years!

Posey is a total sweetheart, but she is also a cat who knows exactly what she wants. She has plenty of opinions and isn't afraid to share them!

The Master of the "Purrito"

Part of our regular visits with Posey includes administering her medication. As many cat owners know, giving medicine to a cat with strong opinions can be a delicate art form. Posey’s routine requires a bit of special technique, custom tailored to keep her comfortable and calm: the classic "purrito."

Swaddled cozy and snug like a little feline burrito, she gets her meds safely and easily. Once the medicine routine is out of the way, she gets plenty of play time to make up for the inconvenience!

Tunnel Time & Sweet Cuddles

Posey’s absolute favorite activity is zoom-racing through her kitty tunnel. Watching her dash in and out after her favorite string (because cats like the toys we spend $0 on) and playing peek-a-boo from inside her little tube, never fails to put a smile on our faces.

After play time, Posey turns on the charm. Beneath her opinionated personality is a incredibly tender heart. She loves soaking up scratches, offering soft purrs, and giving sweet head bumps to wrap up our visits.

Her mom shared:

"Posey is a 6-year-old wild cracker who loves playing with ribbons, zooming, and snuggling with her twin sister Poppy. We love how she "plays catch" with her toys, her sweet sass, and how she plays hard and purrs harder."

Four years of knowing Posey has been such a joy, and we’re so grateful to her family for trusting us with her care. Congratulations to our sweet, spunky, purrito-wrapped girl on being named Pet of the Month!
