July Pet of the Month: JACKSON

If you’ve ever spent time around a pet who is equal parts absolute wild man and complete cuddle bug, then you already know exactly what it’s like to hang out with Jackson, our official July Pet of the Month!

We have had the absolute privilege of hanging out with Jackson for over five incredible years now. To know him is to love him, and we are so excited to give this handsome guy the spotlight he deserves this month.

We have known Jackson since he was a kitten, back in the day he would run around so hard he was panting. I don't know if you've seen a cat pant but its the CUTEST thing! He loves to be brushed and get some snuggles but he's got brains to match that charm; when it's time to focus, he showcases his perfect manners and knows how to sit on command and wait patiently for his meals (no counter surfing for this gentleman)!

Aside from snack time, Jackson has a few favorite kingdoms in the house. He absolutely loves hanging out on his cat tree, using it as his personal domain for climbing, relaxing, and starting up adventures. When he's not ruling from his tower, he takes his neighborhood watch duties very seriously, settling in right by the window for some intense bird watching to track every single movement outside.

But once that quiet observation time is over, the energy takes over, and Jackson transforms into a blur of pure joy. His legendary zoomies are unmatched and always bring a massive smile to our faces.

In the words of his sweet paw-rents:

Jackson is our first born kitty, the boss of the house who makes sure we are all where we need to be at all times. He loves watching birdies from an open window, chasing his brother up and down the stairs and playing with his kick toys. He has been in love with Kaeti and Nikita for over 5 years and loves when they get to come over and play with him. He's our perfect boy and we're honored he is pet of the month!

Five years is a long time in the pet care world, and getting to watch Jackson grow, play, and share his unique personality with us has been a true highlight. He brings so much vibrant energy, smarts, and affection to our days, and we honestly couldn't imagine our weeks without him. Jackson's paw-rents are also such a joy. They care for their cats and give them everything they deserve since they are family and we are so happy to know all of them!
