At All Around Adventures, we don’t just jump straight into dog walking or pet sitting, we always kick things off with a Meet & Greet.

If you are a new client looking to get your pet on our schedule, or if you are established but a few things have changed, this quick, 15-minute visit is the service for you. It’s the official launchpad for your pet’s upcoming adventures, and it ensures we are completely aligned before your first official service.

Here is a quick look at why we require these short meetups, what we accomplish together, and how it sets your pet up for ultimate success.

What Exactly is a Meet & Greet?

Our meet and greets are a casual, low stress introduction in the comfort of your own home. It typically takes just 15 minutes but can go longer if you have more questions, instructions to go over or we just get to chatting!

We require a Meet & Greet for every single new client because it allows us to check three major boxes:

1. Evaluating Temperament & Comfort

Your pet’s safety and happiness are our top priorities. Being on their home turf lets us see firsthand how your pet reacts to us coming through the door. We use this time to assess their baseline temperament, observe their body language, and ensure they feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed around our team. If you have a pet that's shy or takes some time warming up to new people we also take that into consideration when scheduling your first appointments.

2. Getting to Know Your Pet’s Unique Routine

Every animal is an individual. During our chat, you can walk us through all the important details that a standard form can’t quite capture. Where do you keep the leashes? Does your dog prefer a specific harness? Are they nervous around garbage trucks? Do they have a favorite hiding spot or a specific treat ritual? We want to know it all!

3. Logistical Check-In & Entry Access

We will review how to access your home (via key, garage code, or lockbox) so there are zero hiccups when it’s time for your pet’s first official walk or visit.

Transitioning Everything to the App

Once we wrap up our 15-minute chat and confirm that we are a perfect match, the final step is getting everything locked into our system.

We will help you get your profile completely finalized inside Time to Pet. This app is the central hub for your relationship with All Around Adventures. By getting your pet's details properly loaded into the app, you ensure that:

• Detailed feeding, medication, and care instructions are securely stored.

• Emergency contact and vet information are readily available.

• You can seamlessly request, modify, or view future visits.

Once your profile is fully set up and approved in the app, we can officially lock your pets onto our schedule!

Already Established?

A Meet and Greet is also very useful for our current clients. Whether you moved, got a new pet or your current pets have new schedules or medications or maybe we just haven't seen each other in a long time, an additional meet and greet is a great way to make sure we are all up to date with the best information to care for you pet. The first meet and greet is always free but additional meetings might take longer or need additional employees to attend so we do charge a small fee of $20 but we are always happy to see our pet parents so don't hesitate to reach out!
