The holidays are right around the corner — which means travel plans, family gatherings, and (of course) a busy schedule for pet care!

At All Around Adventures, we want to help make your season as stress-free as possible by ensuring your pets are well cared for while you’re away.

Whether you’re traveling for Thanksgiving, spending Christmas out of town, or just need a little extra help during the festive rush, now’s the time to book your pet care visits before our schedule fills up!

🐶 For the Dogs: Almost Overnights Fill Up Fast!

Our Almost Overnight service is a favorite for pups who love extra company without the full overnight stay. It includes a long evening visit for dinner, walks, and snuggles. Loads of photos and updates for you and a stress free visit for them. We can then come back in the morning to start their day right!

Because this service takes extra time and care, availability is limited and spots are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. If your dog is used to extra attention at night, don’t wait — reserve your Almost Overnight early to guarantee your spot!

🐱 For the Cats: Tailored Visits for Every Personality

Cats may be independent, but they still appreciate a little company (and a clean litter box!). We recommend at least one visit per day during your trip to keep your feline happy, fed, and safe.

If your cat is shy or prefers a quiet check-in, a 15-minute visit may be perfect. For social butterflies who love playtime or lap cuddles, 30- to 60-minute visits give us time for extra love and care.

Each visit can also include household tasks like:

• Bringing in mail and packages

• Watering plants

• Making sure the trash goes out on trash day

• Opening or closing blinds

• Adjusting indoor and porch lights for a lived-in look

✈️ Preparing Your Home (and Pets!) Before You Go

A little prep goes a long way toward a smooth trip and a stress-free pet care experience! Before you head out for the holidays, here are a few All Around Adventures-approved tips to make sure everything is ready for your pet sitter — and your peace of mind.

🔋 1. Check your door code or lockbox. If you use a door code, make sure it’s working properly and that the batteries are fresh (nothing worse than a dead keypad while you’re out of town!) If you use a lockbox, confirm that it’s in place, easy to access, and contains a working key. Giving your pet sitter 2 ways to enter your home is always a good idea to ensure that if something goes wrong we can always enter your home.

🍖 2. Stock up on pet supplies. Make sure you’ve got enough food, treats, litter, and medications for the full time you’ll be away — and then some. Travel plans can change or flights can be delayed, so having a few extra days’ worth of supplies is always a good idea.

💊 3. Set out medications and Update the app. If your pet takes medication or supplements, clearly label them and make sure our app is updated with accurate for what their doses are. We’ll follow your directions to the letter!

🏡 4. Tidy up your pet’s space. Whether it’s a cozy dog bed, favorite blanket, or cat tree, make sure your pets have their comfort items ready. Clean bowls, fresh litter, and a little order before you go makes it easier for us to keep things running smoothly.

📬 5. Update the Time to Pet App. If you’d like us to water plants, bring in mail and packages, or rotate lights/blinds, make sure we know which ones — we’ll take care of it so your home looks lived in while you’re away. Make sure all of the information we have for your pets and your home is fully up to date in our app!

📱 6. Share your travel contact info. Make sure we have your updated cell number, emergency contact, and preferred vet information before you leave. That way, we can reach you if anything unexpected comes up.
