At All Around Adventures we believe in a team approach to our pet sitting. Which means, we ensure our sitters are equipped to take care of every pet we have on our roster. Some pets are a bit more timid than others and may take some extra time on our side to get a new sitter/walker to gain their trust but we are dedicated to ensuring a stress free environment for your pet.

With that being said we do have new faces that come and go in our business. We take hiring very seriously. We hire slow and fire fast (but if we are hiring slow enough we don't need to fire since we did our due diligence.) Our hiring process consists of putting an ad out with a very detailed job description. Once the resumes come flooding in, Kaeti goes through each one to assess if they have the experience and background she is looking for. Out of the few she decides on we send out a questionnaire. This is to help weed out any of the candidates and narrow it down to a select few for the in person interview process. Finally, once we have found 1 or two ideal employees we run a background check. If that is clear we get started on training.

Each employee goes through 2 days of drive alongs/shadowing. This usually equates to about 30 appointments where they learn how each pet is happiest to be handled and how to use our app to ensure they are always up to date on information about pets and their homes. Once that is complete the third day involves them going on their own to houses they have already seen and writing their own report cards that get triple checked by Kaeti and Nikita. Ensuring your walker/sitter knows how to do the highest quality pet care is the most important thing to us. Safe, stress free visits are the goal.
